Changing your Shop Admin username and Password
You can change the username and password of a directory (i.e in this case the shop admin) by logging into your cpanel hosting account and following these instructions:
1. Log into cpanel
Either:
A. Go here and login: http://www.YourDomainName.EXT/cpanel
B. Login into your account at WebUK and click on the dropdown box on the top right of the page. This method will directly log you into your cPanel hosting account without further username required.
2. Click on "Password protected directories".
A popup box will appear. Click OK and the box will close.
3. Click on the image of a folder next to "shop".
If you do not see the folder called 'shop', click on the folder image next to 'public_html'. This will take you to the correct folder where you will see the folder called shop. Click on the folder image next to 'shop'.
4. Click on the word "admin"
Clicking on the word 'admin' will take you to the correct page to change your admin user details.
A. You will see the active users box has the word "mainadmin" inside. You must delete this. Click on the word once (i.e click on the word 'mainadmin' once) to highlight it and then click 'delete' below. The account will be delted.
B. Now it is time to create a new username. Enter a new username and password in the boxes which says "username" & "password". Click the button "Add account" and your new account should be added to the accounts box. If so you are done.
